Processing time

The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies. For details, see individual items but due to family life and Covid situation this is usually once or twice a week. 

Shipping

I use CTT for shipping, if you have another preference please contact us before purchase.

Correio Registado means Tracked shipping and Correio Normal it's the Standard one; these will be the options available at checkout. All domestic (Portuguese) orders also have a Correio Azul option for a faster delivery.

How much does postage cost?

Shipping has recently been updated and we've introduced flat rate shipping and Free shipping codes as shown below:

Portugal - 1.50€ for up do 450g and 3.50€ flat rate for all others (unless upgraded).
Free shipping over 50€ with FREE50

Europe - 2.70€ for up to 200g. 4.50€ for up to 450g. 10€ (Tracked) for up to 950g. 15€ (Tracked) all others.
Free shipping over 200€ with FREE200

USA - 4.30€ for up to 200g. 8.00€ for up to 450g. 18.50€ (Tracked) for up to 950g. 26.50€ (Tracked) all others.
Free shipping over 300€ with FREE300

Rest of world - 3.80€ for up to 200g. 7€ for up to 450g. 16€ (Tracked) for up to 950g. 24.50€ (Tracked) all others.
Free shipping over 300€ with FREE300

If you are ordering 5 or more skeins, you will be charged for tracked and insured postage - if you do not want your order to be sent tracked and insured please message me immediately after placing your order, and we will refund any postage difference - however, we are then unable to replace or refund your order, if it goes awry.

Where is my order?

If your order hasn't arrived after 15 working days (Portuguese customers) or 25 working days (International customers) please get in touch using the contact form or sending an email to lovebugsyarns@gmail.com - CTT will not classify orders as missing or lost until after the time allotted has passed.

Please check with your local Post Office, delivery office or with a neighbour in case your parcel has been misdelivered.

*Please note that some orders shipping to Canada and, in more recent times, most countries due to Covid, are taking significantly longer than usual to arrive - with some delays of close to 2 months. Apologies for the delay but unfortunately it's out of my hands.*

Can I track my order? 

Unless you have paid for tracked and insured shipping, I am unable to provide you with a tracking number for your order. If you have paid for tracked and insured shipping, a tracking number will be assigned to your order at the time of fulfilment.

I've placed two/three orders with your today, can you combine them?

If you place more than one order during the same update I will combine them into one parcel for you, and refund the shipping overcharge. HOWEVER, if you place an order, and eight hours later place another order - I may not be able to combine it as orders are packed and shipped in a quick turnaround. 

If you choose Tracked and Insured for one of your orders and Standard delivery for another - your orders will ship SEPARATELY.

Will I have to pay fees or import tax on my order?

If you're purchasing from outside the EU, you may be liable for customs / import charges. All import fees and charges are the responsibility of the customer. For details of what charges may or may not apply, please check with your postal service.

I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
